Job Description:

We’re hiring an Enterprise Account Executive to play a critical role on the Untappd team. The Account Executive’s role entails working with C-level and top executives in the beverage industry to generate new business by bringing major national and regional retail, restaurant, bar, hotel, and grocery chains on the  Untappd for Business platform.  We need a detail-oriented self-starter who will put in the extra time and bring a dynamic, positive personality to our team.

As an Enterprise Account Executive, it is your responsibility to handle the entire post-prospecting sales cycle. You will work directly with an Enterprise Sales Development Representative who will identify potential Enterprise accounts through research and analysis – you will be responsible for taking these qualified leads and ushering the opportunities through the sales cycle through deal closure. You are the external face of Untappd to these potential customers and you will work to establish healthy, thriving partnerships with key national retail, restaurant, bar, hotel, and grocer partners, such as Whole Foods, Yardhouse, Buffalo Wild Wings, and more!

You will develop a deep knowledge of Untappd for Business and other Untappd business products as well as food/beverage, restaurant, and retail verticals and are expected to regularly deliver on aggressive key performance indicators. You will work directly with our Enterprise Department Vice President, Enterprise Sales Development Representative and alongside our Enterprise Account Management team.

Responsibilities:

  • Own the post-prospecting sales cycle, from lead generation to strategic negotiation and closing
  • Serve as the lead point of contact to build relationships with relevant stakeholders and influencers in your pipeline, building trust and communicating effectively with C-Level and top executives
  • Remain in frequent contact with prospective clients to understand and deliver on their needs
  • Identify opportunities to create operational efficiencies within Enterprise organizations using our Untappd for Business product suite, and deliver effective sales pitches on those opportunities
  • Coordinate and negotiate contracts, keeping detailed records in Salesforce
  • Clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders
  • Collaborate with Sales professionals to identify and grow opportunities within key verticals

 

Requirements:

  • Proven work experience as an Account Executive, Enterprise Account Executive, or other experience selling to C-Level executives and internal stakeholders (3-4 years preferred)
  • Superior attention to detail, time management skills, and diligent in documentation and organization… you always follow through and do what you say you’ll do
  • Knowledge of market research, sales, and negotiating principles
  • Demonstrable ability to communicate face-to-face and over email to present and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization
  • Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation abilities
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Solid experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, Churn Zero) and MS Office (particularly MS PowerPoint and Excel)
  • Self-starter attitude and motivation to improve processes
  • Competitive, enthusiastic, and passionate personality
  • BA/BS degree or higher
  • Startup experience preferred, but not required – we want doers and builders
  • Experience selling SaaS solutions preferred
