Job Description:

We’re looking for an Enterprise Account Manager to cultivate long-term, trusting relationships with our Enterprise customers and business partners. The Account Manager’s role is to oversee an assigned book of business and actively seek out and generate new business from those customers. We want a self-starter who will go above and beyond to ensure healthy, happy customers and will bring a dynamic, positive personality to our team.

 

As an Enterprise Account Manager, it is your responsibility to on-board, train, support, engage and renew Enterprise customers and manage some of our most complex partnerships. You are the external face of Untappd to these customers, and their internal advocate within our organization. You will make internal decisions on behalf of your customers, and will represent them in all that you do. You will work to grow healthy, thriving partnerships with key national retail, restaurant and grocer partners, such as Whole Foods, Target, Yardhouse, Buffalo Wild Wings, and more!

 

You will develop a deep knowledge of Untappd for Business and other Untappd business products and food/beverage, restaurant, and retail verticals and are expected to regularly deliver on aggressive key performance indicators. You will work directly with our Enterprise Department Vice President and alongside our Enterprise Support and Sales teams.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the lead point of contact for all customer account management matters
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships
  • On-board, train, support, engage and renew Enterprise customers
  • Negotiate contracts and close agreements
  • Develop trusted advisor relationships with key accounts, customer stakeholders and executive sponsors
  • Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives
  • Provide technical support/work with Support & Technical teams to manage challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed
  • Clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders
  • Develop new business with existing customers and/or identify areas of improvement to meet Enterprise team revenue goals
  • Forecast and track key account metrics via account status reports (e.g., feature adoption, account growth, customer health, renewal)
  • Collaborate with Sales professionals to identify and grow opportunities within key verticals

 

Requirements:

  • Proven work experience as an Account Manager, Key Account Manager, Sales Account Manager, Junior Account Manager or relevant role (3-4 years preferred)
  • Demonstrable ability to communicate, present and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization, including executive and C-level
  • Solid experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Close.io, Churn Zero) and MS Office (particularly MS PowerPoint and Excel)
  • Experience delivering customer-focused solutions
  • Proven ability to juggle multiple account management projects at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail and composure under pressure
  • Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation abilities
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-starter attitude and motivation to improve processes
  • BA/BS degree
