Job Description:

Our inside sales team works closely with beer stores, microbreweries, bars and restaurants to sell our Untappd for Business product. Untappd for Business contributes to these venues through enhanced marketing, customer engagement/retention, and data & analytics. As a Lead Development Analyst (LDA), it is your responsibility to deliver quality opportunities to our team of Business Analysts. We have a highly structured and proven training program that will prepare you for success in the position, and there’s opportunity to continue to grow into a Business Analyst and beyond.

The role itself is very intensive. Our LDA’s are expected to regularly deliver on aggressive key performance indicators. These consist of call volume (100 calls per day), scheduling appointments with potential customers, and implementing improvement plans suggested by the sales management team.

With our holistic approach to training, you will:

  • Identify and differentiate the needs of various beer-based retailers
  • Initiate contact with and smoothly transfer opportunities to a Business Analyst
  • Become proficient in an outbound transactional sales model
  • Learn self-management and time-management skills
  • Expertly schedule product demos every day – it will become second nature
  • Contribute directly to the rapid growth of Untappd and this sales team

Our training consists of a 5 day, classroom style rundown of everything immediately pertinent to your early success. From there, new LDA’s enter a 3 month bootcamp period. During this time, you’re held to strict sales targets and regular meetings with sales management. Bootcamp has shown to be a time of great self-growth; when you make it through bootcamp, your odds of success on our team improve dramatically.

What you’ll do:

  • Prospect beer store, microbrewery, bar and restaurant sales opportunities by cold calling, emailing, and Facebook messaging
  • Apply the Challenger approach to prospecting (overcome objections, go for the close, take control of the conversation)
  • Identify and manage your success indicators - be self-managing through data analysis
  • Establish a need for our product, identify key decision makers, and schedule demos
  • Manage your pipeline – from cold call to demo scheduled
  • Work closely with a sales management team dedicated to improving your skills and helping you grow as a sales associate and person
  • Exceed personal and team goals while teaching and learning from peers and mentors
  • Gauge and improve development with frequent one-on-one feedback sessions with your Sales Manager
  • Make 100+ dials/day in a dynamic environment
